Description:
The “Scheduled Events” feature allows you to schedule a firmware update or configuration rollout action in the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) instead of executing the action directly. This allows these important maintenance tasks to be performed at a convenient date and time, such as during a maintenance window at night or on weekends, without the need for administrators to be present.
To ensure that the update process is secure, firmware updates are carried out in groups according to device type and model.
This article describes how to use event scheduling in the LMC to perform a configuration rollout or firmware update.
The information in this article can also be found in the tech paper Scheduled events in the LMC.
