This document describes which settings to make so that the error message “AP configuration error 18” no longer occurs in LANmonitor.
Some access points are equipped with two radio modules, one of which is purely for 802.11ac. In this case, this module cannot be set to the 2.4-Ghz mode.
This affects the following devices:
L-822acn
LN-830acn
LN-830E
LN-830U
LN-630acn
L-1302acn
L-1310acn
LN-862
LN-860
LN-1702
LN-1700
OAP-830 (both Wi-Fi modules cannot be changed)
If a WLAN controller being monitored in LANmonitor displays the error message AP configuration error 18, then the 2.4-GHz band has been assigned to the second Wi-Fi module in the configuration of the WLAN controller.
