The VPN bypass feature allows certain applications to communicate with the Internet or to access specific target domains without routing that data through the VPN tunnel.
This article describes how to set up the VPN bypass feature in the Advanced VPN Client.

You can operate either the feature split tunneling or the VPN bypass feature, but not both together.
1) In the Advanced VPN Client, navigate to Configuration → VPN bypass.

2) Add a new entry.

3) Give the entry a meaningful name and create a new Bypass rule.
In this example, the browser “Chrome” is allowed to communicate with the Internet.

4) Open you the menu Configuration → Profiles.

5) In the appropriate VPN profile, go to the item Split tunneling, open up the drop down menu under VPN bypass list, and select the bypass rule created in step 3.
