In some cases it can be necessary to change revert back to the old firmware after a firmware update (e.g. when a feature doesn't work as intended). During the upgrade process of a LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewall to a firmware version 10.5 and higher a recovery point is created automatically, so that a downgrade to the old version is possible.

1) Open the configuration of the Unified Firewall in a web browser and click on the option System → Recovery Points on in the upper right corner.
2) Click Recover for the desired Recovery Point to change revert back to this firmware.
