Description:

This document describes how a transport address for an SNMP trap recipient is configured in the SNMP settings of LANCOM routers and access points.


Requirements:


Procedure:

1) Open the configuration for the LANCOM router or access point in LANconfig and switch to the menu item Management -> Admin -> SNMP settings -> Target addresses.



2) Enter the transport address using the syntax <IP address>:<port> into the box provided for this purpose (e.g. 128.1.2.3:162). UDP port 162 is used for SNMP traps.
