This article describes, how the wireless modem of 4G and 5G routers can be reinitialized.
Perform the following steps only when you are prompted by LANCOM support to do so. |
Reinitializing the wireless modem of 4G routers:
The wireless modem of 4G routers is connected via USB. The restart of the wireless modem is done by reinitializing the USB. |
Connect to the router via the CLI and enter the following command:
do Status/USB/Reinit
Resetting the wireless modem of 5G routers:
The wireless modem of 5G routers is connected via a Modem Host Interface (MHI) via PCIe. The restart of the wireless modem is done by reinitializing the MHI. |
Connect to the router via the CLI and enter the following command:
do Status/Hardware-Info/MHI/Reinit
