Description:

LANCOM WLAN controllers provide various options for updating the centrally managed firmware in managed LANCOM access points. The following approaches are possible:

• Centralized firmware management with LANCOM WLAN controllers and the use of a web server

• Firmware updates using a USB flash drive as a file server (only with WLAN controllers WLC-4006, WLC-4025+ and WLC-4100). This approach is described in the following Knowledge Base document .

• Firmware update without using a web server or USB flash drives. This approach is described in the following Knowledge Base document .
