LCOS FX: Important note regarding the online update from version 10.5.0 to version 10.5.1

Description:

When the Unified Firewall is updated online from LCOS FX version 10.5.0 to the current version 10.5.1, it can occur that e.g. available update (s) are not shown in the list or an online update fails. However, this behavior has been resolved after an update to LCOS FX 10.5.1.

If you have problems updating online, please do one of the following:

1. Change the update server URL:

1.1 Open the configuration interface of the Unified Firewall and go to the menu Firewall → Updates settings → Settings.

1.2 Change the URL of the update server from:

https://firmware.fx-update.lancom-systems.com into

http://firmware.fx-update.lancom-systems.com

1.3 Switch to the Updates tab and click on the Refresh Updates List button. The firmware update is then displayed in the list.

1.4 Save the update settings.

2. Manual firmware update:

2.1 Download the firmware file here .

2.2 Open the configuration interface of the Unified Firewall and go to the Firewall → Updates Settings menu.

2.3 Click the Upload update button and select the firmware file.

2.4 The firmware update is then carried out.
