Description:
This document explains how to set up e-mail notification in case of a change of the LANCOM router's public IP address.
Requirements:
Vorgehensweise:
1) Open the router configuration of the LANCOM router in LANconfig.
2) Navigate to Configuration -> Log & Trace -> SMTP Account.
3) Enter your SMTP Account parameters into the fields in this menu.
4) Navigate to Configuration -> Communication -> General and add the following to the Action table:
- Name: LINK_CONNECTION
- Remote site: The remote peer to be monitored (in this example, the remote site for the Internet connection)
- Lock time: 0
- Condition: Establish
- Action: mailto:admin@name.com?subject=%c is established?body=IP-Address: %a, Date/Time: %t
5) Save your configuration by clicking OK and write it back to the device.
