Description:
This document describes how LANCOM devices of different firmware types (LCOS, LCOS LX, etc.) can be removed from the LANCOM Management Cloud (LMC) and how to proceed with the configurations made in the LMC.
Requirements:
- LMC project & LMC access (chargeable)
LANCOM Devices with LCOS, LCOS LX and LCOS SX:
1. Switch to the Devices menu and select the devices to be removed from the LMC project.
2. Then select the option Remove from the context menu.
3. Read the information in the following dialogue carefully before you finally delete the selected devices from the LMC project with the Remove button.
If you want to save the configurations of the units to be deleted as a pre-configuration in the LMC, activate the corresponding option.
After removing the unit, its settings remain in the unit as a local configuration.
LANCOM Devices with LCOS FX (LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewalls):
1. Go to the menu Sites → <Site Name> → Devices and mark the devices that are to be removed from the LMC project.
2. Then select Remove devices from site from the context menu.
3. Confirm the following dialogue with Remove.
4. Go to the Devices menu and select the LCOS FX devices that you have removed from the site.
5. Roll out the changed configuration (without location assignment) to the units via the context menu.
6. Select the LCOS FX units to be removed from the LMC project.
7. Then select Remove from the context menu and confirm the following dialogue.
