One-Time Add-Ins
One-time Add-ins modify the configuration that is stored in the LMC visible in the detail configuration. They can be used as a form of wizard, with custom forms to insert variable values before applying the Add-in.
For an Add-in to be available for one-time usage it has to be specifically enabled for this.
Scriptline cannot be used in One-Time Add-ins, as no configuration is sent to the device. You have to use Network related or Global Add-ins instead.
One-Time Add-Ins cannot be used for LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewalls. Using a One-Time Error on a Unified Firewall does not lead to an error, but no configuration is being written.
1) Modify the desired Add-in and activate the slider Offer Add-in for one-time execution on device configurations.
Click Save afterwards.
2) Go to the menu Devices.
3) Select the desired device and click on the three-dots icon in the upper right corner to gain access to the menu More actions.
4) Ckick on Apply Add-in.
5) Select the Add-in saved in step 1 and enter values for the variables, which should be assigned to the device.
Click Apply afterwards.
