The operation with IEEE 802.3af is not possible. During the PoE negotiation via LLDP the switch can initially assign only 13 W to the access point (802.3af) and the access point requests the power actually needed via LLPD afterwards. The LX-7500 features Dual-PoE-in. This can be used to create a redundancy by connecting a switch or PoE injector with 802.3bt support to each Ethernet port. As an alternative, the access point can also be operated by bundling two 802.3at links, without the features being restricted. |
