Description:
As of LCOS FX 10.13 RC1 it is possible to install Release Candidate versions via the online updater instead reinstalling the Unified Firewall via the ISO file. It is also possible to perform an update from the Release Candidate to the Release firmware, when it is released.
This article describes the required steps to perform a firmware update to a Release Candidate on a Unified Firewall via the online updater.
Requirements:
- Configured and functional Internet connection
- Web browser to configure the Unified Firewall
The following web browsers are supported:- Google Chrome
- Chromium
- Mozilla Firefox
Procedure:
1) Open the webinterface of the Unified Firewall and got to the menu Firewall → Updates Settings.
2) Go to the tabe Settings und enter the following URL for the Update Servers. Click on the "Plus" icon afterwards to implement the URL.

3) Go back to the tab Updates and click on the button Refresh Updates List.
4) Select the Release Candidate and click Install.
