With the feature SafeSearch, Google offers an option to filter offensive websites. In the process a modified link for the search is created. If the URL/Content Filter is used on a Unified Firewall and SafeSearch is active, only the modified link is used.
As of April 2024 the implementation of SafeSearch in Bing is incompatible with the implementation in LCOS FX. This means, that search results in Bing cannot be called up.
LANCOM Systems therefore recommends to deactivate SafeSearch, when Bing is used as the default search engine (under UTM → URL/Content Filter → Settings).
